Every coin is a real Solana coin with the pair picked at launch. Its trading fee is split on chain when it is created, and the split is locked for good.
Default wXMR example: 0.7% shared per trade. Other pairs show their fees on the launch and coin pages; some rates change. The split shares lock at launch. Exchange fees are separate.
What this is
Ombro launches real Solana coins with wXMR as the default pair. Other pairs come from the live on-chain list. The $OMBRO pair appears only when it is accepted on chain. Every buy and sell is priced in the chosen pair token. Each coin's trading fee is split on chain when the coin is created, and locked, so the split can't be changed.
Where the shared fee goes
Default wXMR example: 0.7% of each trade is shared as follows. Other pairs show their fees on the launch and coin pages; some rates change with the coin’s value, while the split shares stay locked:
- 0.3% to the coin's holders, in XMR, always.
- 0.1% buys $OMBRO with XMR and burns it.
- 0.1% goes into $OMBRO/XMR liquidity, locked for good.
- 0.15% the launcher picks, locked at launch: themselves (in wXMR), more to holders (0.45% in all), or the Monero General Fund (sent as real XMR).
- 0.05% running costs.
- The exchange takes its own trading fee on top; none of it reaches us.
- Coins launched before 31 October keep the 1.5 % split they locked at launch (0.5 % holders, 0.3 % burn, 0.3 % liquidity, 0.3 % the launcher's pick, 0.1 % running costs). Each coin's page shows its own split, read from chain.
The wallet in your browser
No email, no account. Create a wallet makes a Solana key inside the page. It is encrypted with your passphrase (and, where your device supports it, a passkey: Face ID, Touch ID or Windows Hello) and stored only in this browser. It is never sent to us or anyone else; the pages load no third-party scripts. Before you use it, you write down its private key: it is the only way back in if the browser's data is cleared, and Phantom or Solflare can import it. We cannot recover it. Phantom and Solflare work as before.
No SOL needed. Your personal Monero address (from wxmr.io) needs one signature to create; we pay its network fee and rent (about 0.003 SOL) and take it back, in XMR, from your first buy or exit. Every buy with XMR and every exit to Monero after that pays its network fee in XMR inside the same transaction, shown before you sign: about 0.0001 XMR, more when the trade opens a new coin account (its rent, about 0.002 SOL, is yours and comes back if you close the account). Our wallet only pays those fees and that rent; it never touches your coins. On a coin page you can tick Buy when it lands: keep the tab open and the buy runs there, signed by your wallet, when the XMR arrives.
The terminal
Trade any Solana coin from your own wallet. Pay with SOL, USDC or XMR; a sell lands in the one you pick. Jupiter routes it: one transaction, one signature, 3 % slippage shown as the minimum you receive, and refused above 20 % price impact. The terminal fee, 0.75%, is taken inside that same transaction in what you pay with (or receive). It all goes to buying and burning $OMBRO: SOL and USDC fees are swapped to XMR first, and every burn has a receipt. Every coin launched here still pays its holders in XMR; the terminal is the convenient way in.
Holder payouts
Each coin's holder share collects in its own Solana wallet, used for that coin only. When it holds $5 and the last payout is 15 minutes old, the next one is set for a random, unannounced minute in the next 15 minutes. At that minute we list every wallet holding the coin. Wallets with $20 or more split the XMR by how much they hold. The bonding curve, pools, lockers, burn addresses and our own wallets never count.
Before anyone is paid, a fingerprint of that list goes on chain. Every payout carries its number, and the full list is on the payout's page, so anyone can check the fingerprint and every share.
Enforced on chain: the split and its lock. Not enforced on chain: who gets how much in each payout. We work it out and publish it for anyone to check.
Who gets paid, and the account rule
A Solana wallet needs a wXMR token account to receive XMR, and opening one locks about 0.002 SOL of rent. So:
- You already hold wXMR (any wallet that ever held XMR here): you are paid your full share, however small.
- You have no wXMR account yet: we open it for you and pay the rent and fees (nothing is taken from your share), but only when your share is worth at least 5× that rent (about $2 today), and while the payout's rent budget lasts (largest shares first).
- Otherwise your share is not paid this time: it stays in the coin's holder wallet on chain and goes into the next payout, where it is shared out again. Nothing is owed or tracked off chain; the payout's list shows every skipped share and why.
Tip: holding any wXMR (buy a little, or bring XMR in on Move) means every payout pays you in full.
If a payout is interrupted
Every transfer is recorded before it is sent. If a payout stops halfway, it picks up from the same list: a payout that landed is never sent again, one that failed is redone. Nobody is paid twice and nobody's share is dropped.
The Monero General Fund
On the default wXMR pair, a creator can send their 0.15% to the Monero General Fund. We send it through wxmr.io as real XMR once at least 0.1 XMR has collected, to 888tNkZrPN6JsEgekjMnABU4TBzc2Dt29EPAvkRxbANsAnjyPbb3iQ1YBRk1UXcdRsiKc9dhwMVgN5S9cQUiyoogDavup3H. The General Fund publishes a view-only wallet (primary 44AFFq5kSi… and its view key on getmonero.org), so anyone can confirm each arrival. We are not affiliated with the Monero project.
wXMR and custody
wXMR is issued by wxmr.io. One custodian holds the real XMR; one key (Ds4p…AvpK) controls the bridge and can upgrade it. If it stops, wXMR stops being redeemable. There is no trustless SOL ↔ XMR route today.
Launching
One approval in your wallet covers the whole launch: a Jupiter swap from SOL to your pair token for your first buy (no swap for a SOL pair) (its minimum is enforced on chain; refused above 3 % price impact), then the coin itself on your chosen pair, the locked split, your first buy (capped at what the swap guarantees) and the 0.01 SOL launch fee. It all lands together or none of it does. Any pair tokens above the minimum stay in your wallet. Holders are always paid in XMR: fees in another token are converted via Jupiter before payouts. Your creator share, if you choose it, is paid in the pair token. Pool fees are read from chain for each pair; some rates change as the coin grows, while the split shares stay locked. The mint key is made in your tab; with the box ticked it ends in xmr. Before your wallet is asked to sign, the transaction is checked against the review you saw, byte for byte.
Risks
Most memecoins end at zero. Ombro depends on the Solana exchanges its coins trade on, wxmr.io, Jupiter and our payout bot. If the bot stops, payouts wait; the XMR stays in each coin's holder wallet.
